Kanye West, who recently compared the NBA to slave ships, has now entered his name in the Adidas vs PUMA footwear ring for some reason.
A once amazing artist who now has a lot of time to tweet incredibly insane things, West took to the mean streets of Twitter to make a rather bold deceleration… as he tends to do every other day at this point.
“I am the head of adidas,” Kanye West wrote in a tweet. “I will bring adidas and puma back together and bring me and jay back together … all pumas designs are embarrassingly trash but I will personally design puma and adidas and make everything ok.”
For the sake of prosperity, the tweet’s wording hasn’t been altered from original form. Good thing Jay-Z someone got roped into the tweet because reasons.
Anyway, he’s bringing PUMA and Adidas “back together” because that was once a thing.
Kanye West has also voluntary decided to design all the gear for both sports gear companies, as he’s 100 percent qualified to do so. Why? I don’t know, man. I’m just here so I don’t get fired. This is only an NBA adjacent post.
To be clear, though: PUMA is not trash. Their product is straight fire. Adidas is also good. Just because some really famous dude spent 30 seconds rambling in a tweet, it doesn’t mean those two companies are anything other than great.
Oh. Off topic. But remember when Kanye West ran for president? Yeah. About that. Don’t hold your breath on taking these claims to as factual statements by the artist.
