The NBA All-Star can only accommodate 24 of the best players in the league, and there will always be noticeable snubs each year. Hall of Famer Magic Johnson recently took to Twitter to acknowledge two All-Star-worthy players who will likely be left out of the voting for the 2021 All-Star Game.

Sacramento Kings guard De'Aaron Fox and Detroit Pistons forward Jerami Grant are not exactly considered fan-favorites in the First All-Star ballot returns. However, Magic Johnson might be on to something since both young stars are enjoying breakout campaigns in the 2020-21 NBA season.

In 24 games so far, Fox has been averaging 23.4 points on 47.7 percent shooting from the field and 35.7 percent from past the arc, along with 3.4 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 1.2 steals. The former Wild Cat has emerged as the best playmaker in the guard-heavy 2017 NBA draft class.

Jerami Grant, on the other hand, has turned into a go-to guy since moving to Mo-Town in the offseason. His numbers are way up across the boards, norming 24.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.2 blocks in 24 games. His offensive production has improved greatly, making 45.3 percent of his shots from the field and 39.5 from downtown. The 26-year-old forward is currently one of the frontrunners for the NBA Most Improved Player of the Year Award.

While these two players won't win the popular vote anytime soon, their respective teams' losing records also do not help their case at all. Fox and the Kings are 10th in the West with a 12-12 slate, while Grant and the Pistons are dead last in the East at 6-18.

But Magic is right. Fox and Grant definitely deserve to get some All-Star votes this year, even if they don't end up making the cut
