Michael Jordan is one of the best trash-talkers the NBA has ever seen, and the stories go beyond just being hard on his teammates or upping his opponents. Of course it includes calling enemies NSFW names, just like what Allen Iverson and Al Harrington experience.
During their interview with Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay, Iverson and Harrington opened up about their experience playing against the Chicago Bulls icon and the names they called them when they faced each other for the first time.
According to Harrington, he met Jordan for the first time when the NBA legend was already with the Washington Wizards and they were facing his Indiana Pacers. Apparently, Harrington was having a good game before Jordan started talking trash and calling everybody on the team a “h*e.”
As for Iverson, he recalled the “wassup, little b***c” greeting Jordan gave him when they first talked to each other.
Classic Michael Jordan.
As one of the most competitive players in the NBA, Jordan wanted to win both the physical and mental aspect of the game. That much is clear by the multitude of stories about his trash-talking and competitiveness against his peers in the league.
Then again, that's what made MJ even more popular. Besides, as everybody else witnessed, he can back up his trash-talking with his basketball skills.
