It didn't take long after Jeremy Lin's controversial comments on his own free agency for a former NBA player to chime in with an offer to join the BIG3. This time it was longtime league hopeful Nate Robinson, who also tried his luck in the G League after 11 NBA seasons in hopes to make it back:

Robinson notably played his last bit of NBA basketball after taking the floor for two games with the New Orleans Pelicans in 2015, soon being waived by the team and forced to look for a job elsewhere. He signed with known Israeli powerhouse Maccabi Tel Aviv the following year, only to come back to the United States to play for the Delaware 87ers (now the Blue Coats), before going to Venezuela and Lebanon to continue his playing career.

Robinson has since been with the BIG3, which has effectively recycled the talents of many NBA players, bringing them back to the spotlight in a less-demanding yet equally fun way to see them play.

Lin is only 30 years old and has plenty of juice left, despite winning his first NBA title as a spectator in his brief time with the Toronto Raptors this past season. Lin only played 27 minutes in the postseason.
