In unsurprising news, Nick Young put his foot in his mouth again. The journeyman wing recently responded to NCAA legend and WNBA superstar Sabrina Ionescu's criticism and viral photo/video displaying the embarrassing disparity between men's and women's basketball players in the NCAA tournament bubble:

This response about the NCAA women has been met with fiery opposition, particularly highlighting that Nick Young himself has a daughter:

Also highlighted among the responses was the irony of Nick Young's profile picture on his post, which depicts him and the late Kobe Bryant:

Notably, Bryant was actively training his daughter Gianna to eventually play professionally before they both passed, and was also a noted advocate for equal opportunity for women's sports.

Young later took to Twitter claiming that he'd been hacked, saying he would never speak like that about women.

Prior to this, Nick Young most recently made headlines with former teammate D'Angelo Russell after the latter revealed that Young had cheated on then-fiance Iggy Azalea. The journeyman free agent is most famous for an oft-memed highlight where walked away from a missed three, thinking that it had gone in.

Whether Young was actually hacked or not, the disrespect of women in sports remains clear. The NCAA's poor excuse for a weight room at March Madness for female athletes is a perfect example.
