Chicago Bulls legend and NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen says LeBron James isn't the same player as Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant.

Pippen explained that James doesn't have that ability to take over games or put simply, the killer instinct that Jordan and Kobe had during their careers.

Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant were killers — assassins. They were never afraid to take that last shot and always wanted the ball in their hands in the clutch moments.

LeBron James, meanwhile, is just built differently. He doesn't have that mindset to take over games. The King is more like Magic Johnson where he wants to make the right pass to an open teammate, even it means he doesn't take the final or clutch shot.

The King is no doubt one of the best players in NBA history, but some believe he'll never surpass the legacies of Jordan and Kobe because of his lack of aggressiveness late in game.

LeBron James also doesn't have the offensive skill-set MJ and Kobe had. James relies on his size to get past people and hasn't developed the mid-range, turnaround postgame that Jordan and Bryant were elite at.

In Game 3 of the 2017 NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors, the Cleveland Cavaliers were up and had the possession. James drove to the basket, but kicked it out to Kyle Korver who missed a 3-pointer from the corner. Warriors superstar Kevin Durant then came down on the other end and hit a clutch 3-pointer to give Golden State the lead, and ultimately the win.

It's that play right there where people have an issue with James. They want him to take the clutch shots like Jordan and Bryant did.
