During episodes of Inside the NBA, Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley have had some heated exchanges in the past about different topics surrounding the league. That happened once again on Thursday, as the two were talking about The Diesel’s time with the Los Angeles Lakers from the late 1990s to the early 2000s.

With O’Neal and Kobe Bryant recently sitting down to discuss their much talked about differences during their partnership with the Lakers, Barkley tried to give credit to the 7-foot-1 big man for ending their “beef.” O’Neal then cut him off and saying that they did not have any of it with him in the past, before adding that Sir Charles does not understand that complete situation. He then highlighted the fact that he won the title in three of their four trips to the Finals, and that when he plays, he brings championships.

Shaquille O’Neal and Bryant had a lot of success while playing together but the 2000 MVP was eventually traded to the Miami Heat after their apparent differences. As it turned out, he won another title in South Beach and played for multiple teams before retiring. Bryant, on the other hand, won two more with the Lakers which established himself as an all-time great as well, before hanging his sneakers for good following the 2015-16 season.

The fiery exchange between O’Neal and Charles Barkley on live TV. only makes their show even more entertaining to watch as they are both spontaneous and are not shy about giving their opinion on different matters. For what it’s worth though, they do not take things personally and move on from it right after, which should also be the case after their latest dispute.
