NBA Hall of Fame center Shaquille O'Neal believes the Los Angeles Lakers could be in trouble against the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round of the 2020 playoffs.

While O'Neal won't go out on a limb and say the Blazers will beat the Lakers like Charles Barkley, the former Lakers superstar does think LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Co. could lose the series if the Blazers play with confidence by winning just one game (via NBA on TNT).

All the pressure in this series is on the Lakers. The Blazers can play freely since they have nothing to lose and don't have to play any games at Staples Center.

The Lakers have the best record in the Western Conference. However, they didn't play too well during the seeding games. Both James and Davis have to perform and shoot the ball better in the postseason if the Lakers really want to win it all at Disney World. The Blazers, meanwhile, had a resurgent time in the seeding games in Orlando, culminating in a huge play-in win over the Memphis Grizzlies over the weekend.

In 67 games during the 2019-20 regular season, James averaged 25.3 points, 7.8 rebounds and 10.2 assists. He shot 49.3 percent from the field, 34.8 percent from beyond the arc, 69.3 percent from the free throw line and led the NBA in assists per game for the first time in his Hall of Fame career.

Davis, meanwhile, put up 26.1 points—which actually led the team in scoring—9.3 boards and 2.3 blocks per game in his first season with the Lakers. The Chicago native has never been past the second round of the playoffs during his NBA career, so Davis is certainly excited about teaming up with James in the postseason and lead L.A. to their first title in 10 years.
