Mother’s Day is in full swing and the NBA joined in on wishing everyone a “Happy Mother’s Day.”

Stars such as Stephen Curry, Anthony Davis, and Kevin Durant sent their well wishes in the video compilation below:

We all know how much moms mean to these NBA stars. A lot of these players publicly express their love for their mothers and how much they have contributed to the persons they are today.

Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant famously dedicated his 2014 MVP award to his mother, Wanda Durant, saying that she is “the real MVP.” KD said in his speech that he wouldn’t get to where he is now if not for his mother’s sacrifices and for pushing him to get up early to work on his game.

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James calls his mother, Gloria James, his “champion” for the sacrifices she made for him growing up. James detailed in this letter about how they struggled through life together, with Gloria raising LeBron as a single mom.

Surely, every player around the league has their own stories to tell. All of us fans only see the polished product, but fail to realize the grind that these stars went through early in their lives. Certainly, their moms have been first-hand witnesses and journeyed with them throughout their hardships before they got to this point in their careers.

Aside from their special day, mothers will also get a treat as the NBA is hosting two Game 7s – Portland vs. Denver and Philadelphia vs. Toronto on Mother’s Day.

Happy Mother’s Day, everyone!
