Stephon Marbury is not happy with the way Stephen A. Smith is criticizing NBA players–especially Kyrie Irving after the Brooklyn Nets' shocking playoffs exit–so much so that he warned the veteran broadcaster that he could soon get the Will Smith-Chris Rock treatment.

The former NBA player has issues with Stephen A. for years now, and that was highlighted once again when he came into the defense of Irving after the sports commentator called him “one of the most delusional athletes” in American history.

Marbury slammed Smith for his comments and called him “one of the biggest uncle Tom’s on the planet,” referencing the character in “Uncle Tom's Cabin” that symbolizes servility and self-hatred. Sure enough, it didn't stop there, as the ex-NBA star also replied to a commenter who wondered when is someone going to give Stephen A. that slap in the face à la Will Smith to Chris Rock.

Now, violence is never a good thing, and we hope that slap Stephon Marbury said won't happen to Stephen A. Smith.

However, as what Marbury suggested and clearly based on his actions, Smith's commentaries continue to rub him and a lot of people off the wrong way.

With the way things are going, it's safe to assume Marbury will keep calling out Smith until he tones down his personal criticisms of others and just focuses on basketball.
