After a 16-year career, Tracy McGrady was selected to the 2017 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. With the seven-time All-Star set to be officially inducted on Sept. 8, it is a time for him to reflect on his playing days.

During McGrady's career, he played with numerous All-Stars like Vince Carter and Yao Ming. However, there is one particular player the 38-year-old wishes he could have played with according to Jay King of Mass Live:

McGrady and Shaquille O'Neal were two of the best players in the league to begin the 2000s. While the best center McGrady played with was Ming, O'Neal played with Penny Hardaway, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, and LeBron James during his Hall of Fame career.

In their prime years, McGrady and O'Neal would have dominated the league. Unfortunately, both players were injury-prone in the latter stages of their respective careers. While some question if the two-time scoring champion should have been selected to the Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility, he was in the discussion with Bryant, Carter, and Allen Iverson when he spent four seasons as the first option for the Orlando Magic.

McGrady averaged 19.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 4.4 assists in 938 NBA games.
