The Cleveland Cavaliers have struggled all season long on the court, and on Tuesday afternoon, those struggles continued off the court as Cavs big man Tristan Thompson was accused of cheating on Khloe Kardashian.

With the rumor mill continuing to swirl all day long on Tuesday, the veteran center has since commented on such accusations — well, sort of.

Thompson allegedly tweeted and then deleted the words, “FAKE NEWS,” according to a recent report from E! News Online.

However, this is not the only time that the aforementioned Kardashian has given Thompson “a second chance.” Over the summer, an anonymous source mentioned such a notion to E! News Online as it appeared to be smooth sailing for the couple ever since.

“Khloe has given Tristan another chance at their relationship, and is trying to put the pieces back together for the sake of True,” the insider told with E! News Online back in May. “Although she is crushed by the scandal, Khloe desperately wants things to work and wants to have a complete family.”

Entering Tuesday, Thompson and the lowly Cavaliers were sporting the second-worst record in the Eastern Conference ahead of only the dismal New York Knicks.

With the Knicks currently sporting a disappointing 11-47 record of their own, the Cavaliers remain neck-and-neck with New York at the bottom of the conference standings due to Cleveland's mark of 12-46.

Only the Phoenix Suns can compare in the Western Conference as the franchise now owns an 11-48 record heading into the second half of the 2018-19 regular season.
