Why The Suns Could Cover The Spread
Chris Paul and Devin Booker continue to light up box scores and opponents night in and night out as the Suns are easily one of the best teams in the NBA to this point this season. They are suffered from a Covid outbreak however and the following players will miss Tuesday's game barring changes: Deandre Ayton, Jae Crowder, JaVale McGee, Abdel Nader, Frank Kaminsky, Dario Saric. The Suns are super thin inside at the moment and that could leave the door open for games being closer than expected.

The Suns are 19-17 vs. the spread so far this season and 6-4 in their last ten games. Phoenix is 7-5 against the number as an away favorite and 17-15 as a favorite overall vs. the line. This could be a good spot for a cover as the Pelicans are on back to back.

Ingram is averaging 22.5 points and 4.9 assists per game this season for the Pelicans. This could be a tough spot for New Orleans to cover or win vs. one of the best teams in the NBA. The Pelicans are also on a back to back in this one after losing by double-digits at home to the Utah Jazz on Monday.

The Pelicans are 16-21 vs. the spread this season and 10-7 against it at home. New Orleans is 13-17 as an underdog this season and 8- 6 as a home dog. This is a tricky spot to take them with the points vs. a shorthanded but much better Suns team.
