The Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder will play in a Western Conference matchup on Tuesday night. It's time to continue our NBA odds series and make a Warriors-Thunder prediction and pick.

The Warriors are trying to get back into the NBA title picture this season, while the Thunder are merely trying to get better in what will likely be another long season in Oklahoma City. Golden State almost has the old band back together, as Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Andre Iguodala and Kevon Looney await the return of Klay Thompson, as do impactful newer pieces like Moses Moody, Jordan Poole and Juan Toscano-Anderson. The return of Thompson may be the final piece for the Warriors to put back together the chemistry they had as a team before the arrival of Kevin Durant in the Summer of 2016, when Durant of course left the Thunder for Golden State.

Here's how the bookmakers have set the Warriors-Thunder odds for this Tuesday matchup.

NBA Odds: Warriors-Thunder Odds

Golden State Warriors -9 (-112), -450 ML

Oklahoma City Thunder +9 (-108), +350 ML

Over 224 points (-110)

Under 224 points (-110)

Why The Warriors Can Cover The Spread

The Warriors should have all of their key guys in tonight, and there's not a good reason as to why they wouldn't blow out the Thunder. They are the much better team, and the Thunder (like the rest of the NBA) have no answer for Curry. Draymond Green will anchor the defense as always, and the Warriors should be able to build a lead vs. Oklahoma City and hold it. They have the edge in every area in this matchup, so as long as they keep Shai Gilgeous-Alexander from scoring 60 points, Golden State should be in a great spot to cover Tuesday night. Andre Iguodala is the only key Warrior on the injury report, and he is listed as probable for Tuesday's contest.

Why The Thunder Can Cover The Spread

The Thunder have some interesting young pieces, headlined by Gilgeous-Alexander and 2021 No. 6 overall pick Josh Giddey, but they shouldn't stand much of a chance in this matchup. They are outgunned across the board, and while a cover is possible, it seems reckless to bank on one. Oklahoma City is in full rebuild mode and they are going to play their young guys, for better or worse. This is a spot where Golden State should dominate, and if they don't, something has gone wrong.

Final Warriors-Thunder Prediction & Pick

Ride the Warriors to cover in Oklahoma City on Tuesday. Curry, Green and the rest of the group should be able to handle things vs. a rebuilding, quality NBA talent deprived Thunder roster.
