The Los Angeles Lakers are just staying afloat right now as they're ninth in the Western Conference so far on the season. However, rumors suggest tensions may be rising within the organization as Darvin Ham attempts to switch things up with the lineup.

With that said, rumors claim that both players and people in the front office are becoming frustrated with Ham's lineup changes, according to The Athletic's Jovan Buha. In fact, Buha claims some “eyebrows raised” after the Lakers head coach moved D'Angelo Russell to the bench.

“Yes, there have been some eyebrows raised over the past 72 hours or so when the Lakers made the starting lineup change. I started hearing about it Friday afternoon in talking with some people. At first, I just didn't believe it. I was like, ‘There's no way.' Maybe they're putting Vando (Vanderbilt) in because, ever since training camp, Darvin has basically said Vando was gonna win the starting spot over Taurean Prince. He was gonna be the fifth starter again. And that was the way LA was planning on going into the season, but he suffers that heel injury. He misses a bunch of time.”

It's hard to even gauge this Lakers team right now, as Ham has switched up the starting lineup so many times. It's hard to build chemistry that way, especially for scorers who need time to heat up. But that's how this LA team has been playing this season. The constant change would likely frustrate any player at any level.

“Even if you look at players' comments postgame, you've seen several guys saying they don't know their role. There is some frustration internally with sticking with a lineup and rotation.”

Maybe Ham and the Lakers will eventually figure it out. But they just have to find a lineup and rotation and stick with it. Until then, there could be more confusion and frustration boiling up in Los Angeles.
