Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant already boast of having powerhouse squads, but the Golden State Warriors and Brooklyn Nets aren't done stacking up their roster.

According to Mike Singer of The Denver Post, the Warriors and Nets have their eyes set on Paul Millsap.

Millsap is an unrestricted free agent coming off a $10,000,000 payout from the Denver Nuggets last season. In 56 games, the former All-Star averaged 9.0 points and 4.7 rebounds while shooting 48% from the field and 34% from 3-point distance.

The 6-foot-7 power forward can score from anywhere on the floor. He's also comfortable in moving the ball around. His former teams in the Utah Jazz, Atlanta Hawks, and Denver Nuggets all put a premium on team play. If Millsap ends up playing in either Golden State or Brooklyn, this pedigree figures to blend in nicely alongside Stephen Curry or Kevin Durant.

The Warriors and Nets don't have much money to throw around, though. Curry, Klay, Thompson, Draymond Green, and Andrew Wiggins already eat up a huge chunk of their cap space. The same can be said of Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden in Brooklyn.

However, Millsap is past his prime. Not a lot of 36-year-old veterans with similar contributions get commitments from teams for a large amount of money.

The prospect of playing with Curry or Durant presents Millsap another crack at getting his first ring. While the Nuggets remain contenders in the West behind reigning MVP Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray, the Warriors and Nets simply offer higher odds of contention.
