Dwight Howard played in only nine games this past season with the Wizards due to a back injury which required surgery. He averaged 12.8 points and 9.2 rebounds while shooting 62.3 percent from the field. Howard hasn’t been the same player since he requested a trade from the Orlando Magic.

It’s actually been sad to watch Dwight Howard’s demise in the NBA. The eight-time All-Star has played for the Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets and Wizards since his prime days with the Magic ended.

It will be very interesting to see what Dwight Howard's free agent market looks like. Howard can still get you a double-double, but his injury history and past locker room issues might scare teams away from signing the former superstar big man.

Despite his recent struggles, Howard is still a first-ballot Hall of Famer. He has career averages of 17.4 points, 12.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2.2 blocks. Howard is an eight-time All-Star, five-time rebounding champion, two-time blocks champion and three-time Defensive Player of the Year.
