The Detroit Pistons haven't received any first round pick offers for Andre Drummond, according to James L. Edwards III of The Athletic.

The Pistons are widely expected to trade Drummond before the February trade deadline. They have had trade talks with the Atlanta Hawks and New York Knicks:

One source said talks between the Pistons and Hawks began around Christmas. As The Athletic’s Sam Amick recently reported, Atlanta and Detroit would have already completed a deal for Andre Drummond had the Hawks been willing to throw in a first-round pick. The initial deal consisted of only expiring contracts.

Teams aren’t offering first-round picks right now.

Drummond has a player option worth $28.8 million for the 2020-21 campaign. If he declines, the All-Star big man would become an unrestricted free agent after this season ends.

Drummond is averaging 17.6 points, 15.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.8 blocks per game this season for the Pistons, who are 14-26. Andre is shooting 53.0 percent from the field and 62.1 percent from the free-throw line.

Assuming they trade Drummond, the Pistons could embark on a full rebuild and try and get some value for former MVP Derrick Rose, who is playing like an All-Star this season.

Detroit initiated Drummond trade talks with the New York Knicks, according to Vincent Ellis of The Detroit Free Press. The Pistons have interest in acquiring Julius Randle and Frank Ntilikina from the Knicks.

We'll see what the Pistons end up doing with Drummond. It's pretty clear from the outside looking in Detroit just needs to tear the roster down and build for the future.
