The Oklahoma City Thunder reportedly haven't offered anything enticing to seriously interest the Miami Heat in a Chris Paul trade, according to Barry Jackson of The Miami Herald.

The Thunder are actively trying to move Paul more so than the Heat are trying to acquire the future Hall of Famer.

Chris Paul has three years left on his monster contract. He’ll make $38,506,482 next season, $41,358,814 in 2020-21 and has a player option worth $44,211,146 for the 2021-22 season. Paul and the Thunder likely won’t agree to a buyout, as CP3 would have to give up a lot of money.

This past season with the Houston Rockets, Paul averaged 15.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 8.2 assists in 58 games. The nine-time All-Star shot 41.9 percent from the field, 35.8 percent from beyond the arc and 86.2 percent from the free-throw line.

The Heat want to pair small forward Jimmy Butler with another star. At this stage of his career, Paul isn't considered a star anymore. Miami's current starting point guard, Goran Dragic, will give you the same if not better numbers than Paul at a much lower price tag. Dragic will make $19,217,900 next season, the final year of his contract.

We'll see where Chris Paul ends up playing next season. Odds are CP3 won't play a single game for the Thunder.
