Kendrick Perkins went on ESPN's “The Jump” on Friday to talk about why he and Kevin Durant are arguing on Twitter.

Carson Cunningham of KOCO-TV was able to get some video of Perkins' rant, which featured him dissing Durant's playoff record in OKC even more:

Kendrick Perkins was going to go on “SportsCenter” on Thursday night to talk about why Russell Westbrook is the best player in Oklahoma City Thunder franchise history. Marc D'Amico, a Boston Celtics writer, challenged Perkins by saying Kevin Durant is the best player.

Durant and Perkins then got into a back and forth where Durant ripped Perkins for averaging two points per game while they were teammates, while Perkins called out Durant for making the weakest move in NBA history by signing with the Golden State Warriors in the summer of 2017. While KD won two championships and two NBA Finals MVPs with the Dubs, some still don't respect him because of how he won them.

Durant loves getting in these kinds of Twitter beefs. He has said before it’s why he goes on Twitter in the first place, and he has more time this season since he's not going to play because of his recovery from an Achilles tear. In addition to feuding with Perkins, KD recently fired back at a number of fans who were critical of him on Twitter.

By all accounts, Kendrick Perkins and Kevin Durant were good friends just this past offseason. It's unclear what changed or if they are just putting on a show for NBA Twitter and for ESPN segments. If they are just fooling around, it's clearly working, as we're using this space to talk about it. Numerous others have also weighed in on the beef, including former NBA star Gilbert Arenas and Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams.
