The Sacramento Kings suffered another blowout defeat on Wednesday, falling 130-111 to Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks. It was a frustrating evening for the Kings, and at one point, head coach Luke Walton got in on the action.

Walton was arguing a call during the third quarter, and with the 39-year-old coach unable to control his emotions, the game official decided to hand him a technical foul. As expected, this left Walton incensed, turning his attention to Doncic:

By saying that the referee was a fan of Doncic, Walton was implying that the official was making calls in the favor of the Mavs star. Walton was not shy about it, and even motioned to Doncic himself. The reigning Rookie of the Year did not appreciate Walton's antics, prompting a heated exchange between the two.

Fortunately, things did not escalate from there, and for his part, Luka Doncic finished with a game-high 33 points (10-of-18 from the floor, 10-of-12 from the line), three triples, 12 rebounds, and eight assists in 31 minutes of play. This was the 20-year-old's first game back following a seven-game absence due to a right ankle issue. What a way for him to come back, making it seem like he never missed a beat.

Doncic's performance only added insult to injury for Sacramento. The Kings will never live down passing on Doncic in the 2018 NBA Draft in favor of Marvin Bagley III, and every time the Mavs phenom torches them it will sting just a little more. Dallas is reaping the rewards and enjoying every second of it.

As for Walton and company, this was their second consecutive loss following a tough defeat against the league-best Milwaukee Bucks on Monday. Sacramento is currently 21-33, sitting well outside the playoff picture in the Western Conference.
