During Tuesday's matchup between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Phoenix Suns, there was a bit of an altercation midway through the third quarter. Gorgui Dieng and Devin Booker got into it and were both subsequently ejected after their scuffle.

However, they were seen running to the locker room after each other. It remains to be seen if the fight continued behind closed doors.

Devin Booker has had an excellent season for the Suns so far. He's really come into his own and grew as a playmaker. Many analysts had critiqued him in the past for being an inefficient ball-hog of sorts. However, Booker has done wonderfully as the defacto point guard. As the lead ball-handler, Booker has developed his vision and now is a very suitable lead guard for the Suns.

As of this writing, Booker has averaged 24.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 7.0 assists per game while shooting 45.0 percent from the field and 32.0 percent from beyond the arc. Booker and rookie center DeAndre Ayton have had to lead this young Suns team, and the future is bright behind the duo.

For the Timberwolves, Gorgui Dieng has had trouble finding his role in the rotation. Ryan Saunders prefers to use him at the four, but it clogs up spacing.

This season he's averaged 13.7 minutes, tallying 5.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 0.8 assists per game while shooting 48.5 percent from the field and 34.4 percent from beyond the arc.

Hopefully, this situation deescalates itself and team and league officials don't need to step in.
