Both the Atlanta Hawks and the Washington Wizards ended up making history on Monday night as both teams had a flawless evening from the line. Trae Young, who ended up leading the way with a perfect 11-for-11 from the line, breaks out of his free throw slump with a season-high as he continues to adjust to the new free-throw rule change.

According to NBA.com/Stats, both teams ended up making history on Monday night as this was just the fifth game in the Shot Clock Era in which both teams connected on all their FT attempts. The Wizards knocked down all of their 16 shots from the stripe while Young and the Hawks made all of their 29 free throws for a combined 47/47.

The Hawks ended up with an all-important W over Bradley Beal and the rest of the DC-based squad as Atlanta snaps the Wizards' three-game winning streak with a 118-111 win. Young led spearheaded the attack for Atlanta and added 26 points and six dimes to his impressive free-throw tally.

Young has made a name for himself in his young career as one of the more creative players out there who can draw a foul almost anywhere and everywhere. But, with a massive rule change this season, it's been quite challenging for the 23-year old to get to the line. After averaging 9.3 and 8.7 free throw attempts per game in his last two seasons with the Hawks, Young's free throw attempts have gone down to a career-low of just 4.3 attempts per game.
