Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young couldn't help but laugh off at FOX Sports after making a false claim that Luka Doncic won more games than him in the Conference Finals.

While Young and Doncic have a good relationship, people just can't stop comparing them after they were basically traded for each other during the 2018 NBA Draft. And after the Dallas Mavericks were eliminated from the West Finals on Thursday, FOX Sports used the narrative to compare the two.

The problem is the network didn't get their facts checked.

Kevin Wildes claimed that Young and the Hawks were swept by the Milwaukee Bucks when they reached the Eastern Conference Finals in 2021. However, Atlanta did win two games and lost the series 4-2. Ice Trae called out the apparent disrespect and emphasized to everyone that not everyone they see on TV knows what they are talking about.

Trae Young has every right to call out the slander and the incorrect reporting. While he doesn't have any issue with all the Luka Doncic comparisons, what basically happened is his achievements with the team were undermined just to lift the Mavs star.

The Hawks suffered a first-round exit in the 2022 playoffs, but there is no doubt Young has put the team on the map and made them legitimate playoff threats for the years to come.
