The Atlanta Hawks' losing streak extended to three games on Friday after the team fell to the Washington Wizards. The 101-111 loss put the Hawks at 8-31 on the season which gives them the worst record in the NBA. Despite putting up All-Star numbers, Hawks' second-year point guard Trae Young took responsibility for the team's most recent loss.
…That’s on me, I’ve gotta be better… 💯

In the loss, Trae Young led the Hawks in scoring with 19 points. On the other hand, the 21-year-old shot just 7-20 from the field, missed all seven of his three-point attempts and had six turnovers on the game.
Excluding the late-December game against the Milwaukee Bucks where he left due to injury, Young's 19 points are his fewest in a game since December 11 when he scored just 15 points against the Chicago Bulls

For Washington, fifth-year shooting guard Jordan McRae dropped a career-high 29 points and Davis Bertans added 14 points and seven rebounds. The loss becomes even more disappointing for Hawks fans seeing as Washington was without star guard Bradley Beal.
As a whole, Atlanta has struggled in pretty much all facets of the game. The team ranks second to last in points allowed per game, dead last in offensive rating, 29th in rebounds per game and give away the most turnovers per game in the entire NBA.
