Trae Young took to Twitter hours after suffering a scary injury, rolling his right ankle by stepping onto Justise Winslow's foot and consequently getting helped off the floor, missing the remainder of the game. Though there was fear this could be a long-term injury, reports later confirmed the Atlanta Hawks were optimistic this would only put him out a couple of weeks.

Though Young faces missing two weeks with his ankle sprain, the Hawks will be utterly careful with their star, who was leading the league in scoring after his first two games.

The second-year point man only mustered five points, two rebounds, two assists, and a steal in 11 minutes before departing for the remainder of the game, but had put up 38, 39, and 25 points in each of his prior three games, dishing out nine assists in each of them.

Forget the sophomore slump — Young was bound for an All-Star type campaign before suffering the injury, and the Hawks are hoping that taking care of him and his injury will allow the guard to come back to that same scorching start.

In his absence, DeAndre Bembry could take over the point guard spot, though Kevin Huerter had already become the team's secondary playmaker, even though he's still recovering from an earlier injury that forced him to miss time. Evan Turner, who has some point guard experience of his own, is still listed as day-to-day with an injury of his own.
