Atlanta Hawks rookie Trae Young received two technical fouls that led to his ejection in the third quarter of the team's game against the Chicago Bulls last Sunday. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, those technicals will not be rescinded.
In addition, the league office regularly releases reports on the number of technical fouls each player or coach from the league has received. In their March 6 report, Young currently has six, with the two technical fouls he received during the Bulls game still included. It is an indication that the league has no plans of overturning the referees' decision.
Last Sunday, Young and Bulls guard Kris Dunn had a minor altercation during the first quarter that led to a double-technical call by the official. However, the former seemed anxious, wanting to prove himself against his veteran adversary. During the third quarter, the Hawks rookie hit a long 3-pointer, then stared Dunn down, which led to his second technical and eventual ejection.

Young finished with 18 points and five assists in 18 minutes before he was ejected.
Young already shelled out $2,000 for the first five technicals he committed this season. The sixth one he received have cost him an additional $3,000. Should he continue to get T'd up, those fines will continue to increase as well, and if for some reason he receives his 16th technical foul, he will be fined $5,000 and suspended one game for each technical foul that will come after that.
