Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young is the latest villain in the NBA after Knicks fans absolutely destroyed him in the first two games of their series against New York.

Despite the drama, Trae Young absolutely loved every second of it, via NBA TV:

Young might have torched the Knicks in the series opener, but the Hawks ended up losing Game 2 after New York came out firing in the second half. Trae Young still had a solid night though on Wednesday, collecting another 30 points.

The Hawks shot a dismal 27% from three-point range and just 37% from the field, which certainly hurt them. They were also dominated on the boards by New York, who grabbed a crucial victory at MSG.

Now, Trae Young and Atlanta head back home with the series tied at one. He may be a villain to the Knicks fans, but those two games at the Garden will forever be a memory.
