Trae Young sealed the deal for the Atlanta Hawks. He nailed a cold-blooded step-back 3-pointer to get the Hawks a 103-99 win over the Orlando Magic.
With less than 30 seconds remaining on the game clock and the Hawks holding on to a two-point cushion, Young stared down Markelle Fultz and put the moves on the former no. 1 overall pick. Fultz actually played good defense on Young, knocking the ball away from him for a split second.
However, Young gathered his bearings and banked home an insane step-back triple to put the game away for good.

If you thought Young's opening season performance couldn't get any better, he ups the ante even further with another masterful game tonight.

Young followed up his 38-point night against the Detroit Pistons on Thursday with 39 points tonight against the Magic. He added seven rebounds and nine assists, matching the same output he had two nights ago in their season opener.
He went 16-of-25 from the field and made half of his 10 attempts from beyond the arc, which included his dagger three-pointer to put the Magic to bed.
Young is off to a flying start in his sophomore season. It's clear that this Hawks offense is going to go through the 2018-19 Rookie of the Year runner-up. No other Hawk scored more than 10 points and only Young had double-digit shot attempts on the night.
This is going to be an exciting season for Hawks fans. With Trae Young poised for a breakout campaign and a great young supporting cast around him, Atlanta is eyeing a return to the postseason for the first time since 2017.
