NBA fans in Mexico may be in line for a treat this summer.

With next season starting in late October, the country is rumored to be hosting three games, which will give their fans an opportunity to see their favorite players playing up close. One of the teams that might play in the “Land of Enchantment” is the Brooklyn Nets, who will look to have a better campaign and bounce back from their poor performance this past season.

The USA’s neighboring country hosted two games in January when the Phoenix Suns went up against the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Mavericks inside the Mexico City Arena. After seeing the success it had, the league office decided to have an additional game for next year, and have more teams play in front of Mexican fans.

There have also been some talks that the NBA is looking at adding a franchise in Mexico, which was confirmed by commissioner Adam Silver. The league is happy with the reception of the Mexican people to its players and the sport continues to grow there.

No schedule has been released yet when the games will be, but as soon as the full schedule for all teams will be given, it’s expected that it also includes the date, venue and time of the NBA Global Games Mexico for next season.
