An anonymous Eastern Conference guard says the Brooklyn Nets are going to be “really good” after the moves they made this summer.

The Nets signed All-Stars Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and DeAndre Jordan, as well as veteran small forwards Wilson Chandler and Garrett Temple in free agency.

“They were already tough, now you’ve got to defend Kyrie and the others? C’mon man,” the unnamed player told Keith Smith of Real GM. “And DeAndre (Jordan) will let you know he’s there by dropping you with a screen. They’re gonna be good. Really good. Then they get KD? That seems almost unfair.”

The Nets made the playoffs last season and added three All-Stars this summer. Even though Kevin Durant is widely expected to miss the entire 2019-20 season recovering from his Achilles tear, Brooklyn is likely going to be a top-three team in the East next season.

Kyrie Irving, DeAndre Jordan, Jarrett Allen, Caris LeVert, Spencer Dinwiddie and Joe Harris are motivated to show the world they can be a lethal group without Durant. The Nets have one of the best coaches in the game in Kenny Atkinson, and as long as Irving behaves and co-exists with Atkinson, Brooklyn should be an elite team in the East in 2019-20.
