Right now it feels like the entire Brooklyn Nets team has been placed under the league's health and safety protocols. That's not literally the case, though, as the Nets still have a handful of players that are active despite what appears to be a full-blown COVID-19 outbreak within the squad.
One of the players that have been spared is Blake Griffin. The six-time All-Star recently opened up about how crazy the situation is right now. Even Griffin himself struggled to put into words how things have developed within the team:

I feel like you just walk n the locker room you just kinda look at everybody you just laugh.”

Kevin Durant was one of the players that were most recently placed under COVID protocols. As Griffin describes it, the situation was pretty surreal when the Nets decided to pull KD out of the locker room.
An extremely shorthanded Nets side were in action on Saturday, as they fell to the Orlando Magic, 100-93. They had only eight players available in the contest, which incidentally, was one less than the nine players that are under the league's health and safety protocols.
