An executive for the Brooklyn Nets says “there will be no pressure” for superstar small forward Kevin Durant to “return even one day before he is ready.”
Durant is widely expected to miss the entire 2019-20 season recovering from his Achilles tear. The two-time Finals MVP signed a four-year deal with the Nets in free agency.

This isn’t a one year thing for us or Kevin. This is an agreement for four years at least. Big picture will rule this one.”
Nets general manager Sean Marks has already said the team isn't going to update the status of Kevin Durant throughout the 2019-20 season. Marks wants the focus of next season to be on the players who are playing and not on KD's recovery.
Everyone is curious to see what type of player Durant is going to be once he comes back since Achilles injuries are said to be the hardest surgeries to come back from. Since Durant is 6-foot-9 and can shoot over anyone, the 10-time All-Star is still going to be a scoring machine since he doesn't rely on his athleticism that much to score the basketball.
The Nets will be title contenders once Durant is back on the floor. A team with KD, Kyrie Irving, DeAndre Jordan, Caris LeVert, Jarrett Allen and Spencer Dinwiddie leading the charge figures to be lethal.
