Drama has ensued around the Brooklyn Nets' franchise after Kevin Durant requested a trade. Additionally, Kyrie Irving wants out as well, even though he could have done that by simply declining his player option. Regardless, the franchise is busy promoting their 2022-23 season tickets and it's caused a little ruckus on social media.

According to Nets Daily, Brooklyn has Kevin Durant within the image for their promotion while leaving Kyrie Irving out of it. Perhaps the club believes they can salvage their relationship with Durant as it's clear Irving is ready to move on from the Nets. Although that's true, there is a belief around the league that the Nets will trade Kevin Durant before the start of the season. Jackson Gatlin created his own hilarious version of the ticket promotion due to the trade rumors.

Whether it's the Phoenix Suns or someone else, Kevin Durant is likely on the move. Regardless, he's the biggest name in Brooklyn and it only makes sense to use him in advertisements until he's traded. Additionally, the superstar's small forward is locked in his contract until 2026, which gives the Nets a ton of leverage in negotiating. There is a chance, albeit small, that Durant remains with his current team for the upcoming season.

We'll have to wait and see how it comes together. Brooklyn is going to take their time and make sure they get the best deal possible. Kevin Durant can specify his desired location all he wants, but at the end of the day, the Nets don't have to accommodate him by any means. As for Kyrie Irving, all eyes remain on the Los Angeles Lakers as a potential landing spot for the disgruntled point guard.
