James Harden and the Brooklyn Nets have started to correct the course after a slippery start to the season. Harden's lackluster play, which was a big cause of Brooklyn's 2-3 start, is starting to improve. The Beard is refinding his groove on the court, and he's having some fun off of it as well.

Harden reacted to a viral tweet of an Instagram post from Herman Aldo Wibowo, a tattoo artist based in Southern California. Wibowo shared a picture of a chest tattoo that he claimed to be Black Jesus. A Twitter user posted a screenshot of the image and said the tattoo bears an uncanny amount of resemblance to Harden, who responded with a laughing emoji.

In a young season defined by Kyrie Irving's absence from the team, which leaves the Nets more vulnerable in a much-improved Eastern Conference, Harden's reaction to the tweet is surely a pleasant sight for Nets fans. Although there's a chance Irving makes a return, as New York City's vaccine mandates may change under Mayor-Elect Eric Adams, nothing is set in stone just yet.

During the Nets' current win streak, Harden posted a season-high 29 points in a close win over the Indiana Pacers and a triple-double in a dominant win over the Detroit Pistons. Harden and the Nets' next game is Friday evening. They'll begin a six-game road trip, starting with another matchup against the Pistons.
