Remember the time when haters were saying that signing James Harden will be the end of the Brooklyn Nets? I wonder what they're saying now that the former MVP has been quite unstoppable in his first 27 games donning Brooklyn's black and white threads.

On Wednesday against the Indiana Pacers, the reigning three-time scoring champ made sure the city of New York will forever remember him as he punched his way to two new incredible records in his two-month stay in Brooklyn.

Harden produced another triple-double in Indiana with 40 points, 10 rebounds, and 15 assists. This is Harden's sixth game for Brooklyn where he scored more than 30 points and dished out more than 10 assists. He's now the franchise's single-season record holder and he needed just 27 games to get there.

Harden's 15-assist evening was also his 21st in his short tenure at the borough which makes him the first Net to do this since Deron Williams tallied 22 10-assist games back in 2012-2013. Thing is, it took the former Brooklyn point guard 78 games while Harden, again, needed almost just a third of those games.

There were a lot of questions and doubts about Harden's arrival in Brooklyn and whether or not he'll ruin the current dynamics between Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. After just two calendar months, Harden has been an absolute beast for the Nets and has given the Nets the luxury of sitting out their other stars. As Brooklyn's primary point guard, Harden has now skyrocketed as the league's top assist guy this season with an average of 11.2 dimes per game.

We haven't even seen Blake Griffin play yet.
