Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant should be jumping with joy by now since he will be re-uniting with ex-teammate James Harden following the blockbuster four-team deal on Wednesday. However, judging by KD's recent interview, it looks like he is still tempering his expectations until the deal officially gets completed.
When asked what it was like playing with Harden back in their early years with the Oklahoma City Thunder from 2009 to 2012, the two-time NBA champion also opted to give a short, straightforward response.
Kevin Durant said that he would talk about James Harden "another time" after the trade was finalized.

To be fair, Kevin Durant and the Nets have a lot on their plate right now. As thrilling as it is to have the one-time league MVP on board, they must address certain issues before his arrival.

The Nets, who are currently sitting in sixth place in the East with a 7-6 record, are still facing uncertainty with the status of their other superstar Kyrie Irving. The six-time All-Star has missed Brooklyn's last five games due to personal reasons. It remains unclear why Irving has opted not to play and when he'll be back.
Kevin Durant, on the other hand, is certainly happy to have another superstar caliber player in the Nets' bid to win a title this year. He probably just wants to keep to himself at the moment up until his team sorts out the current mess they're in.
While James Harden was not the superstar that he is now back in OKC, Durant is well aware of just what The Beard brings to the table.
