Everyone falls for the random fake post at one point or another. Not even an ESPN analyst like Stephen A. Smith was spared when he spouted some fake news on the Brooklyn Nets.

Stephen A. Smith was live on ESPN's First Take earlier this week wherein he cited a “report” about how Nets guard Kyrie Irving and his former teammate in James Harden got “heated” due to Kyrie outplaying the Beard in practice.

“Especially when Kyrie looked him in the face according to reports and told him ‘You're washed up.' That's part of the reason they had a falling out,” said Stephen A. Smith confidently on the ESPN show.

He was even clowned by the purveyor of the said fictitious report, Ballsack Sports, who seemed more than proud that their fake news was pushed by such a massive media figure like Stephen A. Smith.

Even Kevin Durant had to clown on Stephen A. for making such an amateur mistake. The Nets superstar posted a five-word message to his occasional critic on Twitter.

There have been several reports on the rumored rift that grew between James Harden and his Nets co-stars. But some headlines are just too good to be true.
