Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant had a rather funny and sarcastic reaction to the news of Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless hashing things out after their reported conflict recently.
To recall, both Skip and Stephen A. had a rather heated exchange about their ESPN stint. When Smith said that Bayless begged him to join “First Take” permanently in 2012 due to the unsatisfactory ratings of the show back then.
Bayless, for his part, denied the claim and said that he had great ratings at the time. However, he did share he was “stung” and “blindsided” by the comments of the man he considers his brother.
Now, as the New York Post reported, the two have hashed things out and reconciled. Apparently, Smith went to Bayless' house in LA and they talked things out by the pool.
“It wasn’t the easiest conversation, for a while, but we slowly but surely sorted it all out,” Bayless said on The Skip Bayless Show.”
“We got through it — and we have been through so much together. We’re still standing. We’re okay now. In fact, I’m going to go so far, if I can be a little presumptuous, to say we’re good now. You know why? Because I love this man no matter what. That’s my conclusion. Unconditionally. And I believe he loves me. And I am proud of that. I cherish that.”

Kevin Durant, for his part, seemed to troll the two with a rather sarcastic response. The Nets star took to Twitter to say how “proud” he is of the two men reconciling and showing love for each other.
Awww, I’m so proud of these men. https://t.co/0gPHJlt2hy

Given the history of Durant with the two–with the Nets forward often beefing with Smith and Bayless–it's certainly quite the noteworthy reaction. And sure enough, it'll only fuel their back and forth on social media even more.
But hey, who doesn't want to see KD and Smith or Bayless jawing at each other online?
