The Brooklyn Nets took down the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night in what turned out to be a feisty Play-In battle between two sides that would not let up. In the end, the Nets prevailed, 115-108, thanks to the heroics of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant.

Irving caught fire in this one going a perfect 9-of-9 from the field in a scorching hot first half. Kyrie finished with a game-high 34 points (tied with Darius Garland) but after the win, he decided to heap praise on his Nets teammate Kevin Durant instead (h/t NBA on Twitter):

You can't argue with Irving here. Durant put up a 25-point, 11-assist double-double in a dominant display in this must-win game against the Cavs. Then again, Irving was not bad at all himself, going for 34 points on 12-of-15 shooting with 12 dimes.

With this huge win, the Nets have now booked their place in the playoffs as the seventh seed in the East. They now get to face the Boston Celtics in the first round. I'm sure Boston fans can't wait to host Kyrie again. Irving and the rest of the Nets already know that it's going to be a hostile environment and that should be a lot of fun.
