Brooklyn Nets superstar Kyrie Irving made a delightful gesture to his family after an impressive dunk versus the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday. Irving pointed to his family while dunking in front of two Pelicans—talk about swagger.Ā

Irving has a ton to smile about on Wednesday. Not only is his team the number one seed in the Eastern Conference but he also gets his good friend Kevin Durant back in the rotation. Durant missed several weeks of playtime due to a hamstring injury but is now ready to go versus the Pelicans. The best part about the Nets? They haven’t been complete as a team but they’re winning games as effortlessly as possible.Ā 

Irving is currently averaging 28.0 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 6.2 assists this season. He was also in and out of the Nets’ lineup because of personal reasons but has moved on from the ā€œissueā€ since. Irving looks happy on the court and it translates to his game. The one-time champion scored his Ā 40-plus points for the fourth time this season versus the New York Knicks on Monday.Ā 

No James Harden? No Durant? No problem for Irving, who was spectacular down the stretch on Monday. There’s no question that Irving and the Nets are going to be one, of if not the hardest teams to defeat this postseason. With the addition of Blake Griffin and LaMarcus Aldridge from the buyout market, it’s clear that the Nets want their first NBA championship more than ever this season. The only thing that could stop them is injuries but as of now, Irving is carrying the team well enough.Ā Ā
