It didn't take long for Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless to respond to Kevin Durant after the Brooklyn Nets star mocked their reconciliation.

To recall, both veteran commentators had a little beef recently over some controversial claims regarding their time together at ESPN. Stephen A. basically said Skip begged him to permanently join “First Take” back in 2012 due to unsatisfactory ratings of the show.

Of course Bayless denied the claim and said he was “stung” and “blindsided” by it. Fortunately, the two eventually hashed things out after Smith visited Bayless in his LA home and they talked about it by the pool.

Upon seeing the story, though, the Nets forward couldn't help but poke fun at the two with a rather sarcastic comment.

Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless took a page out of Kevin Durant's book and responded with sarcastic comments of their own, thanking the Nets scorer for his kind thoughts … or not.

Stephen A. and Skip have been two of the biggest critics of KD, and it is worth noting they have publicly feuded on Twitter. Given the history between all parties involved and the fact that no one among them backs down in a war of words, it is safe to expect that this new beef they have is far from over.
