Brooklyn Nets superstar small forward Kevin Durant won't play this season, but it's still fun to track his rehab process.

Durant recently threw down a monster dunk which will surely get Nets fans even more excited about next season:

A 10-time All-Star and former MVP, Durant has career NBA averages of 27.0 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 849 games with the Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State Warriors. Nets fans can’t wait to see KD out there on the court competing with Kyrie Irving and DeAndre Jordan by his side.

The Nets are hoping Durant and Irving can bring a championship to Brooklyn. Both players have Finals experience under their belts, as well as rings.

Irving won his with the Cleveland Cavaliers back in 2016, while Durant won two with the Warriors.

Durant told Toronto Raptors big man Serge Ibaka on his cooking show last summer he picked the Nets over the New York Knicks in free agency because Brooklyn was “farther along in the process of being a contender.” The Nets made the playoffs last season and have a good core and infrastructure, though they'll be looking for a new coach thanks to the recent firing of Kenny Atkinson. The Knicks, meanwhile, had the worst record in the NBA in 2018-19 and have been a walking disaster under owner James Dolan for years.

Durant, Irving and Jordan each signed four-year deals with the Nets. The three players are very close friends. In fact, KD and Kyrie took less than the max so the Nets could give Jordan his $40 million deal.
