There is no doubt that Giannis Antetokounmpo is a very talented player, and has emerged as one of the NBA’s stars of the future. His skill set is very unique, as he can play all five positions on the floor, causing nightmare matchups for opposing coaches. However, he has not been as successful when it comes to delivering jokes, especially during media day.
It can be recalled that last year, he made a “knock knock” joke fail, as he tried to break the ice in front of members of the media. The joke was so bad that it didn’t elicit a response from the people inside the room, and was very difficult to watch.
During Monday’s media day, The Greek Freak once again attempted to crack the audience by delivering another joke. This time it was a different kind, but still drew the same reaction from them, including from his teammate Rashad Vaughn, who was also on stage with him.

The good news for him is he did not see how they reacted anymore, as he immediately fled the scene, and ran towards the back. This coming season, he is also expected to continue becoming the Bucks’ focal point on offense, which he has done a good job with, unlike telling jokes. Based on how he has fared in trying to make a group of people laugh, it may not be a bad idea for him to just stick to playing basketball, as he is very good at it.
