Giannis Antetokounmpo has vowed to be more aggressive, after attempting a playoff-low 10 shots in a Game 5 loss to the Boston Celtics. He made good on his promise on Thursday night, dropping 31 points on 13-of-23 from the field, including 5-of-8 from the line and a game-leading 14 rebounds for the Milwaukee Bucks.
Walking out of the Harris Bradley Center for the last time in the series, The Greek Freak shed off all the nerves of heading into a pivotal Game 7.

Facing a Game 7 scenario for the first time, the rising Bucks star vowed to be ready to represent his city on the road and move on to the Eastern Conference semifinals.
“I have no expectations,” Antetokounmpo said. “I only know that me and my team are going to come and play hard in Game 7. We have to come to play because we don’t only play for the team, but we play for this city. I know me and my team are going to be ready.”
If going by the history of this series, neither team has lost at home — but it takes one game to break the streak and Antetokounmpo is far and away the best player in either team, capable of taking over, as he did Thursday.
Moving into the second round would mark the next step in his progression and one that has been awaited by this franchise for quite a while.
