The Boston Celtics have hit a bit of a rough patch lately. However, they managed to get back into the win column with a dominant 102-91 victory over the Charlotte Hornets.
Aside from their recent struggles, the Celtics have continued to enjoy the stellar performance of rookie small forward Jayson Tatum. The third overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft has already established himself as one of the NBA's most efficient scorers, according to Synergy Sports Tech.
With his performance tonight, Jayson Tatum now ranks 4th in the @NBA in scoring efficiency among the 167 players using over 10 possessions per game sandwiched between Anthony Davis & Stephen Curry.

Needless to say, Jayson Tatum is entrenched between some pretty elite company in New Orleans Pelicans big man Anthony Davis and Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry. Furthermore, he continues to establish his case as one of the best rookies in his class.
Tatum showcased his talent early in the year during the brief absence of superstar point guard Kyrie Irving. Since then, head coach Brad Stevens has entrusted him to serve as an integral scoring option within the Celtics' versatile offense.
The rookie phenom is currently averaging 14.0 points and 5.6 assists per game. More importantly, Jayson Tatum has made the most out of his shot selection by going 51.5 percent from the field and a fantastic 50 percent from 3-point land. That said, he could be poised to take on an even larger role on offense as the year progresses.
