Do not disrespect Terry Rozier because he will get you back. Yesterday, a basketball fan learned this the hard way.

With about seven minutes remaining and Boston down by six on yesterday's Celtics nail-biting 97-96 home win over the Portland Trail Blazers, Rozier came off an Aron Baynes screen, caught a pass from Guerschon Yabusele at the top of the 3-point line, and launched a three. His shot was short, but Rozier caught his own rebound and made a mid-air putback shot about 12 feet away from the basket.

The Celtics' official Twitter account tweeted the clip and a caption of the moment:

Despite Rozier making up for his missed shot, a fan angrily replied this tweet with a not-so-kind comment. She bashed Rozier, compared him to arguably the best shooter of all-time, and criticized his field goal percentage:

Rozier, in fact, struggled from the field yesterday. As the fan noted, Rozier went 1-for-7 in 3-point attempts and only 5-for-18 from the field overall. In an even less kind way, Rozier answered back:

Every player in the league has a bad game every now and then. Plus, it is not a nice gesture to criticize Rozier after he had a team-best plus/minus of +7 yesterday. Also, this was only Rozier's third game starting in place of the injured Kyrie Irving. In his first start, Rozier racked up a triple-double of 17 points, 10 assists, and 11 rebounds. He followed that game up with a 31-point outing to lead the Celtics past the Atlanta Hawks.

That lady should not be a Celtics fan because if she was she would have noticed Rozier went 3-for-6 and 6-for-8 from three-point land in those two games. While answering back like Rozier did may not be the best way to get new fans, at least he has strong evidence to defend himself from hate comments.
