Can you believe that Michael Jordan, considered by almost everyone as the greatest basketball player of all-time, a six-time NBA champion, a multiple time All-Star, and a former Defensive Player of the Year winner, lost to a businessman in a pick-up game?
No, no. It's not LaVar Ball.
According to Sports Illustrated's Chris Ballard, he watched a video of Jordan losing to a guy named John Rogers Jr. To those who have no idea who he is, Rogers is the founder and CEO of the largest minority-run mutual fund in the United States.
Fortunately, there is video evidence of this one-on-one matchup.

In fact, there was a report back in 2013 of Jordan — who was turning 50 years old at the time — beat then-Hornets rookie Michael Kidd-Gilchrist in one-on-one.
For a better appreciation of this fact, Kidd-Gilchrist, who some may view nowadays as a role player at best, was no slouch that year. He was the second overall pick of his draft, sandwiched between Anthony Davis and Bradley Beal, and was coming off a national championship at Kentucky.
Amazingly, Rogers did to a younger Michael Jordan what Kidd-Gilchrist failed to accomplish against a much older version of the GOAT.
