The Chicago Bulls have been playing like one of the best teams in basketball all season. They are currently the number one seed in the Eastern Conference as they are 27-13 and hold a one-game lead on the second place, Miami Heat.
There have been many questions coming from the Bulls as of late because they haven't played well against two of the top teams in all of basketball the past few days as they lost two blowout games to the Brooklyn Nets and the Golden State Warriors.
Let's take a look at three questions about this Bulls team for the remainder of the 2022 season.

Bulls Questions 2022
3. Can DeMar DeRozan keep playing like this
At this moment, there is a very good case to be made that DeMar DeRozan could be the league's MVP. What he is doing out there for this Bulls team is simply sensational as he has been a major reason why they have found so much success.
Although the Bulls do desperately need a forward or center who can defend the rim and also make it tough on elite scorers, they also desperately need DeMar to continue playing the best basketball of his career.
There have been many questions on if he can continue playing at this level and the simple answer to that is yes. He has done this throughout almost 40 games this season so there's no reason to expect him to slow down anytime soon.
What he does in the mid-range area is a thing of beauty. He gets to his spot around that free throw line and he pulls up and hits jump shots in front of taller defenders every single game. He doesn't do anything crazy but he does get to his spots and that leads to 25-plus points a night.
2. Who is the answer for that 4-5 positions?
If the Bulls are going to want to find any success this season, they are going to need to go out and get a forward or center. There is really no denying that this is the missing piece to this Bulls team and if they do not make this move, they might not find much success come playoff time.
Article Continues BelowIt will be interesting to see what players are going to be available but there have been many rumors that Myles Turner of the Indiana Pacers is going to be traded. If the Bulls are going to want to contend, they need to do everything they can to go out and get Turner. He would be essentially everything that this team needs because he can also stretch the floor on the offensive side of the ball.
Chicago has a very good team right now and there's even a chance that they could contend with some of the better teams in the Eastern Conference with what they have. If they do go out and add that defender, they have an even better chance of winning an NBA title and continue proving many people wrong who thought they wouldn't play as well as they have been this season.
1. Are they pretenders or contenders?
There have been many questions the past few days about this Chicago Bulls team because they did not play well against two of the better teams in all of basketball in the Brooklyn Nets and the Golden State Warriors.
The questions that have come about for this Bulls team are if they are pretenders or contenders. These questions are obviously always going to happen when a team is the number one seed in a conference and gets beat badly against two other top teams in all of basketball.
At the moment, the Bulls might not be contenders. This isn't a bad thing because they are just one move away. If they can go out and get somebody who can defend that 4-5 position and make it tough on guys like Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kevin Durant come playoff time, they are any team that nobody's going to want to face.
They have two guys they need as Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan have been playing some of the best basketball of their career. The two stars are exactly what a team needs come playoff time so there's no reason to think that this Bulls team won't have a chance to win an NBA title
Anybody who is saying that this Bulls team cannot win a championship has not been watching them all season long. Yes, they have lost two games in a row to two of the better teams in the NBA by a wide margin but they still beat the Nets in a three-game regular-season series and they also beat them by 20-plus points in their first matchup.
It would be unfair to say that the Bulls are not contenders at the moment just because they had two bad games.
