Chicago Bulls head coach Jim Boylen has been told by management to not answer questions about players' injuries anymore, according to David Schuster of WSCR Radio-Chicago.
Bulls forward Otto Porter Jr. is expected to be out another four weeks after Boylen said a few weeks ago that he didn't expect Porter to be out for that long.
According to our @Schumouse, Jim Boylen has been told by management to not answer questions about players' injuries any more. Also, last night he did not do the interview for the Coach's show on Bulls pregame. Awfully tempting to connect dots here. Boylen words = embarrassment.

The Bulls, after losing to the Charlotte Hornets on Friday, are 9-18 on the season. They are in the 11th spot in the Eastern Conference standings.

Boylen is John Paxson and Gar Forman's puppet. He will do anything they ask since he received a contract extension this past summer, which wasn't earned.
Boylen had a mutiny on his hands last season and he’s already gotten into a little spat with shooting guard Zach LaVine after benching the high-flyer against the Miami Heat. LaVine responded to the benching with 49 points and a game-winning shot versus the Charlotte Hornets, but it’s pretty clear Zach and Boylen have a ways to go before they are on the same page.
The Bulls were expected to compete for a playoff spot this season. Chicago is only three games out of a playoff spot, but that’s only because the back half of the Eastern Conference is so bad.
